Public Relations Committee
Members seek to raise and maintain the community’s awareness of Habitat’s work. They activate people to become involved in helping to eliminate poverty housing. Creative design or writing skills as well as an interest in working with the media are all assets to joining this committee whose members:
- plan and organize media requirements (radio, TV, news, etc.) for the affiliate and events;
- develop fact sheets, press releases, brochures, newspaper articles, etc.;
- ensure the website and all media items are up-do-date; and
- create the affiliate newsletter and help committees with their media needs.
